Real-time architecture
This project started with a simple goal: to push Unreal Engine 5 as far as possible as a tool for architectural visualization. An internal experiment, developed entirely in real time, to explore how close we could get to the quality of traditional rendering without giving up the ability to modify and experience a scene instantly.
Real-time rendering changes the way a project can be presented. Instead of waiting for every individual image to be rendered, materials, lighting, viewpoints and environments can be adjusted with immediate feedback. This makes the process faster, but more importantly, it makes it easier to experiment and compare different solutions without having to rebuild the render each time.
But the real advantage goes beyond speed. A scene developed in Unreal Engine can become an experience: clients can enter the space, move around freely, explore the environment from any viewpoint and, when needed, interact with elements within the scene. Architecture is no longer simply something to look at, but something to explore.
For this project, we wanted to combine visual quality and interaction, using Unreal Engine 5 not simply as a rendering engine, but as a complete presentation environment. It is a direction we are particularly interested in exploring, opening up new possibilities for presenting architectural and real estate projects before they are built.
